Linen is the world's strongest natural fibre, much more durable than cotton, and will take you through many seasons provided you take care of it. Having said that, linen does not require extra special treatment, as it is machine washable - just make sure you use cold water and no bleach or whitening detergents. Linen clothing does not lose its shape in the wash, and can actually become softer on the skin over time. 

 

Linen is perfect for every season. During the warmer months, it is breathable, lightweight and moisture wicking, keeping you cool and fresh on hot days. Linen is also a natural insulator, retaining the heat from your body and releasing the excess, keeping your skin warm in autumn or winter. 

An environmentally friendly and sustainable fibre, linen used far less water in its production than other textiles, such as cotton. Linen is derived from the flax plant,  which does not require special growing conditions, meaning less water and less fertilisers are required. The entire flax plant is used when producing linen, as the demand for flax seeds and oils in the health industry has increased over time.
